Those teams aren't very good as is, split them in half and they will be out in the group stage. Timbers won't go for that.

Of course they aren't. Can't risk losing when they've got a lot of tough recruiting ahead just to fill their 4 rosters for next year's $20K beat downs.

Who ya gonna call? DA/GDA-Busters (1-800-USSF direct)...

The market has evolved and the once and future king of Oregon state cups era is here...which is second tier football locally and while it's a fun concept, it's an antiquated reality and recipe for the wrong mentality as it relates to today's pay-to-play model (which should instead be focused on rapid development for OYSA level children).
Unfortunately, OYSA / Timbers do not care about youth development. They just follow the same model as US Soccer. All our clubs mimic OYSA and the system. No one really gives a crap. Just keep feeding the Technical DOC's / parent ego's. We have a girl at FC Portland and we have yet to see the DOC they hired. I asked one of the coaches and even he said he had not heard from her. This is so frustrating.

Is that where I will find our DOC's?

The truth hurts!! You are not the all mighty you think you are. Take a sip of that Kool aid and really think about what you signed your child up for. Expensive baby sitting ;-)

                    Doubt it. Post the brackets.

FC DoCs have always been available to me. Have you tried calling them? I mean, if you're looking for them you must have a reason, right?

I have requested to speak to them for the last month and not heard or seen them at the fields. I even went to the office but was told they do not go into the office, which is weird. I got the answer I needed from the response I got. I was courteous in my email and conversations with the office staff. I just wanted to speak to them about the direction of the club. Our team has been in decline for the last few years and no-one seems to care. I will not sign my child up to an organization that does not give a s**t about it's members. I have no idea where we go now.

                          Where is the schedule

Really, the Presidents Cup schedule is out but not the State Cup.

Sure, whatever buddy. Sorry your kid's riding the pine on the B team but that's life. Maybe try a kick and chase TA club.

Here's your first problem. You can't say that your team has been on the decline for the last few years, because with the birth year change, all FC Portland teams have changed. In other words, whatever team you were on last year is pretty different from this year. FCP doesn't typically allow play-ups. Instead, they rearranged all of their teams this year. Big clubs like FCP, THUSC, BSC, ***C (etc) can do that. Nice try buddy. Climb back under your rock where you came from.

Where are the schedules? Thought they were coming out today. No wonder so many families drop out of soccer. People with multiple kids with multiple activities need some planning time.
