Why cut loose the best elite girls program in the state? You and yours can't handle the competition? Thorns Academy is the clear loser in all of this. They've had 3 years to get it figured out and yet every year they are worse than the year before.

FCP ECNL has struggled but the kids are having fun. It would be unfortunate to discontinue the program.

NEU and FC have not merged, but have been partnering on national programs to pool players and resources (higher level coaches and fields).

Timbers should partner with FCP to run GDAP like they did with DeAnza in CA. Already have the core for teams that are willing to pay to travel, will lower the elite pool from 3 to 2 clubs, & will hasten the dominance of GDAP over Ecnl.

We know this already. ECNL gets all the talent and the Thorns get the scrubs. Nothing will change going forward.
