At this point, this looks a LOT like ADF's run to the state cup. Styles matter--and the teams that give ADF trouble are getting knocked out by a run-and-gun team (with XF essentially play the same role that uPDX played in State Cup, though a better version thereof), one who ADF should match up well with and be able to beat.

That said, ADF only beat uPDX 1-0, and XF's speed up top might give them problems. uPDX is probably a better defensive team than XF though. Probably the best Oregon comparison for XF ECNL 2 would be ETFC, and ADF won that matchup.

Well...ADF lost 1-0...so something went sideways in your analysis.

The $64k question: How the heck did the Crossfire team lose to Montana Youth? XF is quite good--and the scary thing is this is XF's B team; the A team probably could beat some of the MLS Next sides--and yet they lost their opening match to a beefy bootball team that WT thrashed like wheat, and which most of the other top OR clubs likewise would have had no problem ripping apart.

Opfc looks out of sorts and has players missing (their best defender I did not see??) from when we beat them in qtr finals in statecup. They also had players in a bunch of odd positions- their striker playing a wing back midfielders playing striker, etc. not sure if coach is just trying things out but very disjointed and sloppy in the middle. Wash timbers are going to have a field day with them if they play like the 20 minutes I watched against Spokane yesterday

Seems that way, but please continue. That group should be dominating but they are so disfunctional and entitled that they were bound to implode like the 04’s did last year. I hear that coach can be bought…

Calling all cars! Looks like we've got some Club Zero crime going on here. Someone badmouthing one kid by name (OK, initials, but we all know who both acronyms refer to), which is usually considered poor form even by the low standards of talking-soccer.

But 0PFC honks have managed to overrun two other threads in this forum with comments about penises....

Calling all cars! Looks like we've got some Club Zero crime going on here. Someone badmouthing one kid by name (OK, initials, but we all know who both acronyms refer to), which is usually considered poor form even by the low standards of talking-soccer.

But 0PFC honks have managed to overrun two other threads in this forum with comments about penises....

My god move on from the genital references it’s overdone and unnecessary. Time to realize it’s about soccer. I was in Redmond this weekend and witnessed 05 opfc boys for the first time in awhile. I would agree with the op- I know several kids on this team that have caused us anc everyone else fits for years they were not on the field instead #14 wandered around and was a complete liability to his team. Field completely changed once he left the pitch snd opfc had several chances 3/4 which I am surprised we’re not converted. - I would agree that something questionable is going on. That team played much better once he went to the bench and the coach still brought him back on..,

Agree with what you said here though as there is no room for people trying to take down a kid. To be honest the club on club hate is uncalled for as well because at the end of the day these are 11-17 year old kids playing football on the pitch just trying to compete and have fun. Growing. The parents are supposed to be the mature ones.

If you are from WashT's 05 team, I doubly advise you stow it then. SE does not have a high tolerance for this sort of sideline nonsense. Since this is an anonymous chat room, you're probably safe, but sometimes it's better to go public with "what you saw".
