Do oregon youth and parents actually think TA or crossfire are good affiliations? Isn't Seattle Sounders dominating in moving youth forward into professional ranks. A lot of examples and a major one in a very large club that the MLS cannot compete with. TA and Oregon Crossfire have produced very little to factual. Mostly relying on the same platform they always have in Oregon...big and fast. Meaning lack soccer IQ. Isn't it funny how Oregon families have spent so much money to be affiliated and can't even compete with youth in Europe at any age level. Good luck!

TA and "Oregon Crossfire" (except for the girls ECNL program, there is no club called "Crossfire" any more in Oregon, am assuming you are talking about OPFC here) are two very different things. One is an MLS academy, albeit a lackluster one, the other is a pay-to-play youth club located in a wealthy suburb. The coaching philosophies of both are very different.
But "all the established clubs stink" is a song and dance we've all heard before.

With ta picking up players like ML and GS and various ODP studs, and getting rid of the Slytherins, at this point I would assume Timbers Academy would be favored. But we'd still like to scrimmage.

Some of the ODP players are good, better than the Slytherins at least. I'm not sure that TA is headed to a better place, but the players who clearly don't belong are now gone.

Clash schedule is now published:
Friday afternoon has Copa vs Monarcos (CA), WashT vs the Crows, and Salmon Creek vs the F-Bombs
Saturday morning it's Copa vs the Crows, Monarcos vs ADF, and the Battle of Vancouver.
Saturday afternoon it's WashT vs Monarcos, Westside and FCSC, and ADF vs Monarcos.
Consolation match, semis, and finals on Sunday.
Who will take home the highly-coveted laser-engraved log slice? And who will lose their car in a Harmony pothole? (Does the $10 parking fee include insurance?)
