I am pretty sure westside was bashing the showcase format in November in oceanside, tournaments that have 4 games in 3 days , etc etc etc and are now playing in a tourney where the winning team will play 6 days in a row. Where does your hypocrisy end? I don't recall any pronouncements from Cony, JV, or anyone else in a position to speak for the club on that subject; especially given that Cony has long been known to be a DA skeptic. Perhaps somebody here on this board complained about the format (or noted that it seemingly violated DA rules, though I guess two shortened games are considered OK even if two full matches in a day are not), but that's not why Westside didn't go. (We did Surf last summer and were applying for Dallas--three travel tournaments in one season would have been a bit much. Just my opinion).Originally posted by Unregistered View Post
