Sorry BSC but Crossfire was really the better team today and will prove this even more as Spring closes and Boys ENPL is formed.. Best part was we realized at the half that a lot of BSC parents were actually the employees in s few different capacities for our Crossfire parents. Pecking order established!

Yeah, he got a hat trick and a yellow card and probably should have gotten another! Constant trash talking, pushing and shoving. This boy is trouble!
On another note, we had a little bit of trouble with their center mid. With that being said, we did not have our center mid that played with us when we disposed of FCP 6-1 in November. At this age a couple kids here and there make the difference.

Oh. I thought that the WashT player got his yellow for the foot sweep take down that he did after the two hand push in the back didn't work. Btw, it was the holding mid for FC that was missing today, but the backup in the orange shoes did a really good job filling in.

The Ref was clearly out of his element. It didn't impact the outcome but he was swallowing that whistle on both sides of the ball.

There isn't an eye roll big enough. But, someone begged the question earlier about Rudoph for FC. Yeah, I know his name isn't really Rudolph, but something in close and recognizable proximity. . He has been the recipient of 4 or 5 yellow cards???? When does it matter? When is enough, enough. The kid is an A class bully with the attitude of a two year old on crack. He will amount to nothing in terms of soccer talent and his attitude will take him to a pathetic place

Refs are doing a disservice to the young players and to the game by not giving out more cards, including reds, when warranted. More often than not, refs let younger players get away with card-worthy fouls by younger players that would be instant ejections in the pros. Why? I don’t know. I think it has to do with the idea that they should let the kids play like when refs don’t call traveling in basketball when the kids are young. This ends up rewarding the bullies and kids with bad attitudes (I’ve heard so much swearing and name calling but never once seen a card pulled). Maybe let technical things like off side and hand balls slide a little but keep a tight rein on the physical & unsportsmanlike conduct. The games won’t evolve into brawls and thug players will be forced to play the game fairly or be ejected. Our country would develop many more skilled players if we didn’t let the thugs rule at the younger ages. If you can just shove an opposing player down, why would you ever bother to learn to control the ball or pass to advance the ball? This is a problem all over, not just one problem kid at one problem club.

While I know discussing race can be a lightning rod, I really think the inconsistent calls may be attributed to race. Let me clarify, I truly have noticed that the Hispanic officials are way more comfortable with physical soccer. Not saying that this is bad, in fact I actually prefer that the game not be bogged down with a bunch of ticky tacky crap calls. As it is, far too many kids are flopping and hunting for calls. (I watched a kid from Xfire yesterday hit the ground 8 times whenever he was beat or turning the ball over... and actually earn a few calls due to this.) That, is a big part of the problem. Everybody wants to disparage the FC kid, but you have to admit that he goes hard and is relentless in his pursuit of scoring. He is not dropping at the first hint of contact.

The FC DA game reports are incomplete for Technical Staff -- only including the team manager. Can anyone comment on who is actually coaching the teams in practices and games? Wasn't sure if BM is playing much of a role with the upcoming BSC/NEU merger.
