Is there a scenario where FC could be out and Cuervos in?

No but they could still be a wild card- granted a lot would have to happen which would be considered upsets but they still have a chance. Unfortunately the same can be said for the loser of the fc/wa Timbers game

Only chance those boys have of seeing State Cup gold is if they move onto GPS Eagles team next year and get coached by Tate.

Sh1t, based on the change from the first game loss to the next week against NEU, the eagles roster already appears to be doing that. They won't wait until next year why not do it now. That whole organization is a complete sham that has tried to use older/ineligible/etc/etc players every year. At what point does oysa just ban those adults no matter what they call themselves. They have been lasc, ifc, in just the last 2 years what is next...

FC Portland Free Training Session

FC Portland held a pre-tryout training session last night at Liberty HS and another will be tomorrow night. I took my son and I must say that we were thoroughly impressed with the attention that the coaching staff gave the boys. It seemed to be a regular practice night for FCP and they integrated our boys in with their normal practice (Well, I don't know if it is normal or if they were putting on a show for all of us that brought boys to check out the club). All three of FCP's '05 teams started warmed up and went through some drills together before splitting up to do more focused training. I will see if tomorrow is similar or not.

GPS is a whale and if it takes over La Amistad/IFC that could be a game changer for a lot of those kids. I hope it works out well for them as there are a lot of talented players in that pool.

FC let's interested players join practices to see if its a good fit (no show). Last night was a normal practice and tonight is a pre-tryout for the USSDA 04/05 group to meet the coaches and have the boys see if it's something they want to strive for.

Looks pretty good. The only thing I would change is the Eagles vs Bend game. Eagles can't seem to win when they travel over the mountains, so I think they will play to a draw.

Clarification please on that FC vs 4H matchup please. Which teams parents will be whining and why?
