New 03 & 04/05 GDA teams will also pull out more players from OYSA, further weakening OYSA but resulting in the outlying TA clubs moving into the top OYSA ranks from as young as '05.

No tryout fee to make tryouts accessible to all - except Thorns is charging $125.
One game per weekend - except Thorns will do doubleheaders sometimes.
The teams haven't even been formed yet and Thorns are already making exceptions to two of the tenets that are supposed to be the foundation of the academy system - a training to game ratio of 4 trainings:1 game per week, and free accessible tryouts for all. I am genuinely baffled by those who don't see this for what it is. The biggest bait and switch in the history of Oregon soccer. And that's saying something.

So the question is still on the table who are CU & FC P left to play in this region?
Silver lining with the migration of talent in the PNW (OR & WA) to the GDA those PNW Clubs left in the ECNL will have a better chance of competing.

In the PNW Seattle Reign and Crossfire Premier are now in the GDA and XF Premier is sending their best and brightest coaches and players to the GDA.

As for the NW conference of ECNL, the only club leaving for GDA is Seattle Reign, and the only club doing both ECNL and GDA is Crossfire Premier (and Crossfire has already stated that their players can choose ECNL or GDA as they see fit).
