Crossfire WA lost a few coaches because of the opportunities (and pay checks) that came up with Seattle United getting into the ECNL and the U12 DA.

Well, he has been given the middle finger to the MLS for awhile now, can't be all bad.

Bernie's biggest issue is that he always looks after Bernie first. He makes 100K+ as the DoC and he coaches most of the older DA teams at $20-25K each.

He'll not be able to pull any coaches in. He's a lone wolf and does not have the skills or the patience to coach coaches or develop players. That will not work for a DOC of a club. This is why OR soccer sucks! He's from the same mold as the last clown they had. Everything is about him! If they took that route it would be exactly the same (Apart from THUSC wearing Bayern jerseys)

As much as I'd like to see some new blood in the DOC ranks from out of state, I think Rochelle would be an excellent replacement to Tom as well! Going through a formal national search process can only be a good thing.
