Anybody out there going to actually talk about soccer?

The silly bickering is just plain boring; ya'll should probably get off your high horses. And don't be dragging me through the muck even if that Sydelong glance fella is creepifying.

Now, anybody out there ever heard of the game called soccer? I hear there's a bunch of kids that play that game.

I am sorry to continue this subject once more but I do think this is super funny that sydelineview kinda ignored the creepy watching thing with the marine players. Iam a parent of fcportland marine player and have seen you in the parking lot at our try- outs watching last year and you have been known to show up at some of our games and watch from the entrance or parking lot ( this fall and winter ).I do think this is weird because you really have nothing to do with our team and club.. As for the High School list yes you are way off and I think before you go posting something on the forum you should really check your sources. ohh this is a different unregistered parent. sorry I do not plan on registering!!! And posting ever again!

I showed up at Liberty High School one time to watch a game between FC Portland Marine and OR Rush. My DD was not on either team. I wanted to go watch a good soccer game. I know players from both teams. How in the world does that make me creepy? I also showed up to watch the last bit of the Finals last weekend. Again, my DD was not in the game. Am I creepy?

as the parent who was originally so brazen to intrude into your little boys club, i say "thank you" for the entertainment, but, i must say "goodbye" as the real world calls.

Wow!

Wow. I forgot to read the posts for a couple of days and can't believe what I'm seeing.

1). For silly--I am a soccer MOM, and have been posting for awhile now. It isn't just a boys club.

2). Shu--I thought the high school question was great. My DD wants to know who she'll be playing with from other clubs. Makes it more fun for her if she knows other kids who are trying out.

3). I had to guess on some of the schools for my own daughter's team. I didn't ask each parent, so just guessed by their middle schools.

4). Why would anyone post unregistered? Just say where you're from. The vast majority of soccer parents are really nice and can be a great resource.

5). Finally, can't believe anyone would watch a soccer practice from a parking lot with binoculars. That's hilarious. It's obvious that most of the people who post have daughters who have played as long as mine has (YDP U10), and know how all the teams play, and where most of the talent is. What a crazy accusation. I wouldn't even take an accusation like that seriously. Someone is just being mean.

ST - How's our favorite little Bend goalie doing?

Our goalie went back in the Hospital the weekend of the 23rd. They ran a lot more test but as far as I know they haven't found anything yet. I believe she went home on the 26th. She is suppose to get another MRI this week. Sorry I went to Las Vegas with my oldest and so I don't know what is going on. I'll see if anyone knows anymore now that it has been a week. Or maybe some one up there know because there kids go to school with her, though I know she is not going to go to school anymore this school year.
