A quick look at State Cup finals and Eastside got zilched. At least Westside has a couple of older girls teams made it to the finals (considering most of the talent is playing ECNL, this might not be that big of an accomplishment.) What happened to Eastside? Have they decided to just focus on the boys?

Rumor is that Eastside is closing up shop on the girl's side of the house. No quality and can't attract any to the 'hood.

Eastside has not had much luck with high school age girl's teams in the past 4-5 years. They had at least one director of coaching who was very detrimental to the girl's side. Even so, they have had many female players who start at ESUFC or EST, develope and move on to do very well. To me it really is not different than some of the clubs who do very well with girl's teams that are horrible on the boys side.

I posted not caring about ECNL it's a different beast. I was simply referring to EST girls teams, they appear to be non-existent. While in the past they would have the occasional very good team.
