As long as talent is growing on trees all will be well. Why people think more talent will miraculously appear over a period of time is perplexing to me. Consolidation of the most talent at each age group would be the best to hope for. Then the teams could compete well and the better players wouldn't be tethered to the weakest links (ie about half the team).

      Well put. Especially this part:

FWIW, the WA teams that play in NWCL are select-level teams/clubs. NWCL is a non-factor for the top clubs in WA (ie: Seattle United, Eastside, PacNW, NWN, FC Alliance, WPFC). The best WA teams/clubs play FWRL. Even Crossfire had to enter FWRL in the ages they could qualify this year because there is no competition in NWCL, which is why they play up in age in that league but not FWRL.

By looking at the OR league and state cup results, it appears the best OR teams are also all in FWRL.

The best Washigton clubs are playing in NWCL (Washington Premier ECNL and Crossfire ECNL). All ECNL teams (WA and OR) are playing up in age in NWCL

"ecnl teams are playing up a year and had multiple wins against Wa teams last weekend."

Those WA teams referred to in NWCL are select teams. That was the point. The real WA teams that are not in ECNL are in FWRL.

Btw, there are 4 girls U.S. National Team players in WA that don't play in ECNL. They all play for clubs in FWRL.

If you're so plugged in and know so much you can figure it out. I'm not putting names on here. Just because the ECNL teams are required to play in a USCS event by ECNL, and then play the back half of their roster to give them minutes, doesn't mean it's because that's the best competition. Why are the WPFC and XFire U13 girls teams playing FWRL but none of the other top WA clubs play NWCL at all?

Btw, you'll notice those U13 teams don't play up in FWRL, and neither is at the top of the standings.

They are called Discovery Players and also play ECNL.

Actually not true. I came across this looking for real information. This site is obv a proving ground for many of you trying to prop up your own egos. Tell yourselves what you need to hear. It doesn't change anything.

Invited to a national camp for your region does not make you a "national team player" mom and dad. WA teams sent the ECNL teams to NWCL. the other WA teams are premiere including NWN, Eastside FC, Rush and Nemesis. You all are considered second tier. Sorry to break the bad news to you.

None of this matters because, although you are completely wrong, OYSA teams still suck. Timbers Alliance girls teams are bottom of the barrel skill wise but they sure can play thug ball boot ball!

Those Timber Alliance girls are rolling in the offers! Maybe they should pay some more money to go to an ODP regional event for some great exposure. In all seriousness if you are playing OYSA and have some "game" then wake up and do ECNL

I'm not doing your leg work for you anymore. 2 WA girls in the camp linked, 1 ECNL and 1 not. Get a clue.

I actually think they were trying to suggest a younger age group than this had the "national team players" which is even funnier. It's a training camp mom/dad. Relax
