I care, because my daughter is in ecnl and I don't want to wipe my ..... with a $1000 bill, that's why. I'm just glad she wasn't able to attend, so I didn't waste my money. The more important question should be, why don't you care? Probably because you're a coach and didn't have to flip the bill. Maybe you shouldn't dismiss constructive criticism as TA Fraud and listen and try to improve the product.

As you see in my post, I said I was the OP. I defended the poor Phx records for both clubs due to multiple reasons stated, but given all of these obvious reasons why they would do poorly, I question the decision to send them at all. Like I said, I think the $1000 could have been used much more effectively at another event, ID camp, add'l training, etc.

3 showcases are required for U16 and U17. The alternative is going to the East Coast for your third showcase. Based on what happened this year, I think both clubs will opt for East Coast next year. I am sure people next year will complain about the travel because it will more than double the travel time.

So if you are CU U15, then you look really stupid for going. FCP U15 was smart enough to not waste the money. Sorry, I know that you think Tom is a saint, but this has his finger prints all over it. He's got an ego the size if a monster truck and tries to get his teams to travel as much as possible. I know he's not the coach, but he's the director of CU and he would have been the one to say go or not. $1000 says I am right on this too. Ask any parent on that team and they will tell you they didn't want to go nor the coach wanted to go. The "club" made them go.
