PSU has a quality coach. She is someone that has grown with the game. GS coaches the game like it's still 1998. The game has changed so much since then. GS has done nothing to advance his education of the game. You can't expect FCPDX to be your main feeder club for a Div 1 program. FCPDX is not a Surf Academy level of club. I mean next year they have a tiny girl from Vantucky coming in as a freshman. Portland needs to change

True statement. If I were worried about that incoming class, I wouldn't be worried about her. There are others that I think might not be of the former UP quality.

How long will they keep this coach? Why is this team not better? Or I should ask why the recruits aren't better. Watched the game yesterday. ASU had a red card early in the second half. And yet Oregon couldn't score. What does the future hold?

Probably has one more year. If no improvement by then, el gone Oh. That's why any recruit going there has to be nervous. Unless you just love the UoO and don't care who the coach is or how bad the team is that is.

Portland was lead but he legendary Clive and Smith clearly coasted on his coat tails. The Coat tails are gone now. Portland is just another middle of the row WCC school with incredible fans.

Maybe Oregon or Portland should target the PSU coach? IS she good?

Laura Schott (sp?) is a very intelligent person and a good coach. Remember, prior to Kat, Tara Erickson was the Oregon coach and came from PSU. I personally didn't like Tara and thought she was not up to the job. No, my DD didn't play for her but was recruited by her. Laura was a excellent player and has one more career goal than Alex Morgan playing for Cal. I think she would be more successful at UO than Tara or Kat. Worth a try.

The vast, vast majority of NAIA teams are nowhere close to PSU in women's soccer. You must not know anything about college soccer.
