It doesn't appear that anyone was cut from CU ECNL teams.

Because when you keep 20-25 on the roster and you have 20-25 tryout, that's what you get.

But isn't that the only way your DD would ever make any team's roster?

That's a fair question for about 80% of the Portland ECNL parents.

Hmmm. Decisions decisions. Top player and starter on a year-older TA team where the talent drops off a cliff after 2-3 players or player 12-18 on an ECNL team where you have to work for PT every week. I know which choice most TA lemming parents select.

So we know how the ECNL Lemming's dd got a roster spot. Because EVERYBODY made it. Too bad shes beyond roster spot 18. Lot's of practice, very little playing. Things just aren't working out for her.

And yet she can take a starting spot on any TA team, even a year or two older. ECNL is just so >>>>> than Timbers Alliance it isn't even funny any more. Why don't the Timbers clubs just fold up their girls teams completely? Oh right, because they need to fund scholarships for the boys.

I don't have a daughter involved with these groups but marvel at how ridiculous these posts are towards one another. How is for these poor girls at school and in their social lives? Parental bullying on a forum. Really?

The tainted logic, the petty arguments, the back and forth challenges, the falsehoods, the lies, the skewed statistics tossed around on this forum amaze me.Go to the tryout(s) of your choice and then mind tour own business. I've seen many good teams and good club's reputations destroyed by people like you who are so focused on all things ugly, for what? Momentary bragging rights on this forum.

I get that we are close to tryouts. Guess what? Club coaches sometimes are collegiate coaches too. Yes. We also read social media including forums. Yes. We also monitor forums. If not by our selves, we might have players do so. We might also monitor parents at games too.

As coaches, soccer is our job. Best of luck to your daughters in all their future endeavors in life. There is plenty of living beyond the beautiful game.

Hey Tom, you're not going to save your club through veiled threats of monitoring people. HA HA HA HA

I've got something for you to monitor at the games.

So soccer coaches are like N. Korean monitors now? You spy on us and have our kids spy on us also? You must be a CU coach, because obviously you're not spending your full attention on coaching as observed by your ECNL teams abysmal records. No need to skew those numbers.

It is actually just one person; a troll. Trolls obtain self satisfaction by posting to anonymous forums and replying to their posts with inflammatory, and sometimes incoherent rants. They hope to manipulate true forum visitors into angry replies. Since anonymity is built into the forum about all you can do is ignore these outrageous posts and understand that in general these posts do NOT reflect the opinions of the majority of soccer parents posting. This is contrary to what it might appear.
