    Sorry but not so.

In fact. I would not go near any program that involves a head coach that runs his board. I watched him do it once and knew that he was trouble.

I wrote the response and then replied to say that I would not have anything to do with a program that has a coach run its board.

You actually accused me of being the person I want nothing to with as I've witnessed to many things over the years that made me dislike how he operates behind the scenes. We did work together-not specifically at his club.

I first met him when we had a pre-ODP clinic for kids to let them get an idea of what ODP was going to be like. I was impressed. Not for long. It's all about power and control with him.

With that being said, there are people that like what he can do for their kids, so fine. There are other clubs with capable coaches that work just as well to assist their players in development and pursuit of their interests.

Was the Thorns Academy every alive? Didn't even know it was a thing...

It's not. But they will get passed for DAP. Sounds like a few more years at Vegas in the silver division for the Thorns Academy.

When they don't get into USSDA they will say they "didn't want to" as it was too expensive. Just like they said when they got turned down flat by the ECNL. They certainly haven't shown anything over the last two years to suggest they have an elite level program of any sort.

No. Just like Portland ECNL, it was never alive.

ECNL teams have won a lot more games against much tougher competition than the Thorns Academy. Fact. Creating an "all-star" team and then finishing mid-pack in OYSA isn't "elite" no matter what the Timbers lemmings tell you.

Where are these 'ECNL Teams' in Oregon?

I called the ECNL headquarters and asked about how someone could observe an 'ECNL Team' they said they don't offer such a thing as an 'ECNL Team'. So, I asked what do you offer, they replied a Nation Wide league made up of independent teams from all types of Clubs, they said US Soccer offers a National Team, Regional Team and a State ODP team, but we are not charged with forming Elite teams of the best players That's US Soccer function. We are just a governing league that recruits clubs to join our league and offer quality competition and structured showcases where we match up similar ability teams.

Maybe in the Future with US Soccer's blessing we could form ECNL teams until then we will work on our model of league structure and showcase events.

Nice bit of BS there, TA lemming. Not many clues to be found inside your head, are there? If you want to watch some real soccer this weekend, the Oregon ECNL teams are playing in Portland. But, then again, why bother right? You already know that they aren't any good and that your DD's 3rd division OYSA rec+ team could beat them.

Fact is you don't have any facts on your side. Fact. Now back to your cave.

Please share an image of the Oregon ecnl uniform with all of its Stars and Majestic trim.

This uniform only cost you $678 but it comes with an embroidered ECNL OREGON On the front.

Sweet dreams... now back to reality and go dust off your local clubs Jersey.

Some day you might understand. Putting that Timbers crest on your DD's jersey didn't work out for you did it? But putting that ECNL crest on my DD's jersey has paid huge dividends. There's a sucker born every minutes and, in Oregon, every one of them signs their DD's up at a Timbers club.

I don't have a dog in this fight, you just have a hard time understanding that your club team's affiliation with any type of youth League is not to be confused with it's identity.

We send our kids to Jesuit HS they are members of the Jesuit team and represent Jesuit HS, we don't rename them the 'OSAA Team' as there is no such thing.

You need to realize and accept your home local club is your team identity.

In your case it sounds like you're either a member of FC Portland Club, LOSC Club or THUSC Club.

Why this fact is avoided and you rant about another fantasy club called the 'TA' just feeds your delusional perception of reality.

You have eclipsed the notion of a 'Sucker' your are seriously bat-$#!t nuts and if you actually have the responsibility of being a parent you should reconsider this role and consider How To Voluntarily Commit Oneself To A Psychiatric Hospital.

Interesting how the Seattle Reign Academy opted for ECNL. Seems like they would have been naturals to play against the Thorns Academy.
