I heard it's looking to be their biggest year ever. Sounds like a great tournament. I wonder if the turf will be ready? Either way, another example of things getting better at Wa Timbers.

Higher quantity but lower quality. Many age groups don't have a single premier division team signed up.

This tourney is growing and is officially the second largest tourney in PDX metro.
I think it's a great first tourney or starter tourney for the year. It serves it's purpose. Something good is going on in Vantucky

The boys side looks like high quality, many premier teams, and some diversity. At least for a local tourney. The girls side looks mediocre. Still a couple weeks, maybe they can get more. Overall, probably a top 3 local tourney.

This tourney has past Oswego cup I think. Mt hood challenge gets a lot of teams but the venues are spread all over the place in nooks and crannies, low quality fields in many cases. Parking in choppy dirt fields, far from the soccer fields. Our team has not had a great experience at mt hood but it was ok. We enjoyed Clash last year, the grass fields out in Camas area were very good. The game we had at harmony was good too... Harmony in winter is a mess. In summer, was good.

There is quality sprinkled through there, especially on boys side. But girls is good too. Looks like a great local tourney.

The issue is, they dont bracket teams. So timbers red play some rec team to determine bracket. Look at u14B, 1,000 dollars timbers red are winning tnis tournament. Its a tournamwnt to make washington timbers look good.

Looking at the changes they've made over the last nine months I would that they don't need this tourney to look good.

They look good. Best DOC and Jr Academy Director
