that's why they created the Clash of the Border tourney. That wall most of Oregon can send their top teams which are 3rd division level teams.

I don't know about the DOC just yet, still reserving judgment as we are new to the club. However, early indication is he is very good. Who's better? Truthfully, I don't know. I've been at 3 clubs, 2 of which were in Oregon. And those DOCs were terrible.

As for the Clash... it may very well be a rec tournament, I can see why you would say that compared to Crossfire, Santa Clara, Mustang, Surf, and many more.... but if Clash is a rec tourney, so is every local tourney. It will be fun. Don't have to travel far and there is a mix of teams that we don't always see. And in most groups, there are a few top level teams. I think the boys side actually looks very good across most age groups. The girls side, it's solid for a local event. Wish a few more top teams would join.

The THUSC tourney is awful. seriously just awful. Last time we went our group had 3 THUSC teams and us... and that was the only bracket at our age. Sweet. Never, ever again. Never been to Salem tourney and this is first year doing Clash.

Maybe, but at least there will be another 5+ teams from other clubs to go with it. The THUSC tourney is lucky to have any outside clubs participate. It is a mess that should be cancelled. Eventually it will cancel itself. Come on. You have to agree.

The absolute worst tourney was already cancelled - Eastside's Cascadia Challenge. Someone finally got a clue and killed off that lame duck...
