What money? The 2,000 dollar training fees for the season?

Legally speaking. You could be in some trouble for this. Not only is this completely false but it's going a step further on how egregious it is. Please, what is your name?

Aren't they technically stating an opinion?

Not saying I agree or disagree with any of theses statements but I sure don't think you are correct on this.

I have no first hand knowledge but I've heard ECNL is $10k per year.

It's 50k a year silly. Play OYSA, it's nothing but rainbows and lollipops.

By your mere suggestion you are committing cyber libel against me. What is your name?

Playing in an ECNL Showcase is about 40% less than any Premier level showcase. My club fees to play ECNL is $2000, not sure how much our club has to pay our entry fee. If they are making a profit off of the showcase then hats off to them

OYSA at least uses the money earned to spread out to everyone's benefit who plays with them…ECNL puts that money into two clubs, and very likely the pockets of two DOC's...
You mouthbreathing idiot. High costs are due to travel. Not club fees. You're desperate and a liar.

He didn't talk about the high costs, he talked about the fees going into the ECNL clubs and by virtue going to line the pockets of the DOCs. The ECNL clubs are trying to create teams of 30 players or more that consist of the top team and the backups. And in many instances, there are more players than that. Below that, they are trying to say that the only way you make the ECNL team when you are U14 is to have played for the club at U11-U13, which means additional fees for those ECNL clubs. You think Oregon youth soccer is screwed up today, just wait five or so years. Its not about the kids, it's about lining the pockets of the DOCs. But please come back with your blind defense of these DOCs, even though they don't give a rats ass who you are. The parents of the players in these clubs better keep a close eye on Fraser and Tom, I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them.

I am certainly enjoying the exposure our girls are receiving, the competition they are playing (overall), and the development. If my DOC is making a buck then good for him

Completely false. You're just making this sh!t up. No ECNL teams are taking 30 players. They have no plans on taking even close to that many players. Neither club has said anything about having to play for their club to make the teams. Contrarily, they have been very open that tryouts are open to all players interested.

                        You are a liar.

That sounded really angry. And please, check the ECNL rosters. Go to the ECNL website and then look at the teams. Many have 25-30 players listed. Go ahead and check, we will be right here waiting for you. For most people, this is a two minute task. For you, we will give you 20. After 20 minutes, we will post a link for you.

You better keep an eye on him. Or are you someone who never questions leadership, you just goose step along when he tells you to.

On my dd's team we have 30 listed but 10 plus players either never stepped on the field due to injury or they quit after one or two games or are discovery players. The best way to see the real roster is to look at number of games played of each player.

All 30 paid the 2,000. What a scam.
