Our "Premier" team plays three out of state tournaments a year and I'm not talking Vancouver, WA, I'm talking "out of state" need to take a commercial flight to get there.

But you don't play in a regional or national league (and FWRL/NWCL doesn't count, they are more like tourneys than real leagues). It would be expected that Premier teams travel out of state for some tourneys. If they aren't, they are probably really Select.

tHE DEFINition is not BS, You just have an additional exception. In your case the fees would be 1500 + travel costs, the idea is just to equalize costs across the field of clubs...

Why stop there?? Make em all wear the same color uniform also. Olive drab, I'm sure the person who came up with the "set" club fees would agree with that also.
