Best TA team is Eastside at #13 - impressive!

It will be interesting to see how things progress in the next couple of years. Will one ECNL team emerge at the expense of the other and be the place to go? Or will they both continue to split the higher end talent? My guess is one will emerge before too long and will start to compete pretty well and the other will struggle and be a de facto B team.
Right now FCP at the U14 age is clearly the better team... This is primarily due to a legit star play (#29 I think). FCP also has more size and speed as well at this age. With a few more players, they will be a very good ECNL team. CU will have a tough year at this age.

The 16's to be 17's have a history of back and forth. And there is little question that Onyx is going to do better than their FCP counter part so please tell me how that makes FCP the club to go too because of the success of the 14's?

I don't think the U14s...or 15s-18s will have anything to do with the future success of either ECNL club. By this age and this year, the teams are mostly set, with very few additions. Players have long time friends and teammates and are very reluctant to leave for another club, ECNL or not.
Its what happens in the next few years with the U11s-U13s that matters most. Which club will they gravitate to? I have no idea. Maybe both. Reputations will get built, success will be seen and the players/parents will choose.
