In the time it takes to get to FCP's fields from West Linn I could be half way to WPFC and play for a proven ECNL winner!

Except the U14's (FCP ECNL) tied them in WCDA play and your drive would be over 2 hours longer going north, conservatively. Other then that, you're right on the money.

That's not what was said. Or don't you understand the word "partly"? Most of the U13 roster is on the ECNL team. Add in a couple of playups and a few girls from other clubs, train hard 4 times per week for 5 months, and you have the best team in the NW.

It will be an epic fail.
FCPDX will dominate.

Really not close. FC ECNL easily better. Crossfire Oregon terrible... Worse than regular club teams in most cases.

All the crossfire teams play boot and chase garbage soccer, even the ones that win a lot. FCP consistently develops technically and tactically proficient teams. Just watch any age group, and it's obvious. It has been that way sense the early '90s.

Look at the record. FCP has beaten the teams ranked 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and will probably play #2 in December at NWCL finals. That seems to add up to #1 regardless of what algorithm you're using...
