Most all of their good teams get gutted
Any WST boys team over U15 have to deal with the Timbers Academy taking all of their studs. One of the few clubs in the area that develop players year in an year out good enough to play for the the Academy boys.
That's the reality of being the leader in Oregon on the boys side of things. Your best move on to a higher level.
While the rest get to enjoy playing High School Soccer and Classic soccer for the neighborhood team.
It is what it is.
Have you ever wondered why the other clubs don't send players on to a higher level?

Thanks, suppose you want to tell my daughter that so she will go to another club? We are not going to your club for sure. She is happy where she is at, has a good team and coach at the level she needs. Nothing wrong with rec either. She will play in high school if she likes it and do track, but probably not club. Many will just quit club due to the attitudes, problems, politics, negativity, cost time, other sports and interests...is that what you want?

You seem to have a fixation on one team, from a program that has had over 500+ teams in the last 20 years.
Please move on to your next fixation.

So here you are saying the exact same thing to another team? Seem a wee hypocritical to you?

Pretty much have the girls program to help pay for the boys on scholarship.

Comparing
any boys or girls club program to the WST/WSM makes them all look pretty pathetic.
Good point.
