if you have a good coach who teach the players how to actually play and not just hoping the better players rub off on the poor ones you just need motivated players to train with / against to get better.
sure it won't be as pretty or quick as the better players but with the similar level of play the kids have a better chance of execution. plus they won't chase the game all day, meaning they will have more opportunities to be in possession of ball and trying to do what has been asked of them.
