The two big high school teams are Camas and Union. Funny thing they are 2 miles apart and Union is referred to as West Camas as the school address is Camas, look it up if you need to see for yourself. So once again the fight in SW Washington for league and district champion is between these two with camas having the edge. Where is the great Vancouver soccer in this mix, oh I know getting beat by one of these two. Both these programs are loaded with talent. Both have ECNL girls, thorns academy girls, national players, timbers players and yes even salmon creek players.

Jesuit and Sherwood tangle next week, should be fun game to watch. Tualatin and Sunset, state finals rematch is also next week on Thursday. I have Westview in first right now, but we'll see how they do against Tualatin and Grant next week as well.

how does Skyline and Issaquah (sp?) compare to Union, Camas, Skyview?

They won't see any of the top Seattle teams until state this year. Camas last year went to quarter finals and lost to the eventual state champs Spokane Valley. Union lost in quarters to mead. Camas took 4th in state 2012. Camas did play skyline in their first game last year and lost 2-0. Skyline was predicted to repeat as state champs last year but fell short. Clark county is becoming quickly known for producing some the best athletes and teams in the state and Camas and Union are leading the way. I really wish there would be more over the river preseason between all the athletic teams.

Reverse 2 and 5 and you may be right. Jesuit is not that good. I say Grant should be on the list

Well Skyview is just bad they lost tonight to ridgefield 2-0 which is a 2A small school so don't brag about win over them. Camas beat ridgefield 5-0 the day before. the jesuit win over union was a good win because they are tough. Camas as bad as people want to say they are they are the defending league and district champions and lost to the eventual state champions in state last year. they also are returning a majority of there squad from last year with big majority of them now being only sophomores and juniors and couple seniors. Union is tough but the edge over the river goes to Camas.

Correct, Camas lost to last years champions. What was the score again? That's right, wasn't it 7-0 vs Central Valley? While Union lost 0-1 to Mead, who then lost to Central Valley 0-1. Don't get so caught up in last years defending League/District champs, as the previous year Camas went 0 and 3 vs Union. Last year the scores were 4-0 Union, 1-0 Camas, 1-0 Camas. Union has done way too well vs Camas for you to be thumping your chest. It will come down to these 2 teams again, but just let the girls play and leave it alone.
