Both styles can be very effective, if applied effectively.
    What you say is partially correct. But don't kid yourself. The US women win with size, speed, and athleticism.... followed then by skill. Think about it. I'm right. That's why the men finally seem to be in the thick of it. We have some damn good athletes on that team.

        Yup, 100% true. Dammit!!!! There is a time to possess, a time to play direct, and a time to boot the the damn ball. Aaaaaaaaaaargh! But it's ok. This is first World Cup where it doesn't feel like we are completely outclassed. Teams like Mexico and Costa Rica look very good too and we know we can hang with them, even beat them! Go USA!!!
