Different in what way? Even more bootball?

That's why the ECNL clubs have had teams that are so successful outside of Oregon. It's also the reason they kept the same coaches. The girls couldn't recieve a ball properly before, why start now?

Is that what you call "receiving a ball properly" when your forward is running as fast as she can while looking back over her shoulder to pick up the trajectory of the moonshot from the center back? That's the Timbers way. Every Timbers club coaches and plays just that way...

They do eh? And you've personally seen this have you? You sound jealous that your team hasn't had the success of a lot of the Timbers teams have had and you want to put them down by saying they play bootball. When you lose to a team, you have to put down the style of the other team. If your dd makes an ECNL roster, which is doubtful, be ready to tell everyone that your team gets beat by those ECNL teams playing bootball.

That is the exact opposite of what our Timbers coach teaches our girls. Obviously, you have not watched them play, or you wouldn't have used the word 'every'. Get off your high horse!

We are happy with our Timbers coach. Very knowledgable about the game, professional, disciplined and hard working. Great coach.

Well, I was wrong. I thought they would subsidize the girls side.

So if you are a talented boy you can join the Academy for $500. If you are a talented girl, it's more like $4000.

Actually, it's $3,600 max if you do everything. Given what they are doing, then it is being subsidized because you can't do all that for that price. It may not be the subsidy the boys get, but it is being subsidized.

Why do you think the OYSA leave fees are so high?

$3600 max for travel. Add another $1250 for fees

$500 is less than half the training fees and you need to add several thousand for travel.

Sorry you don't understand the word max. That includes all fees, taxes, travel, ... And your daughter isn't good enough to make the team anyway. She can make ECNL however. And spend lots of money to lose big.
