And the RCL clubs don't care one way or the other about OPL/OYSA. Both tend to be merely chances to run up the scores.
I heard this also to an extent. PSPL lost their birth due to the weakness of who they ended up sending. This year (2014) is the last year the OPL will send to NPL. Next year (2015) NWCL will be the sole league from the Northwest that will send teams to NPL.

if you really think about it they are getting this right. If you look at the scores from PSPL and OPL teams each year it's not pretty.

Take out an Onyx or Salmon Creek out and you have some butt whoopin's at NPL

PSPL fall 2014 winners do not get an invite to NPL Finals. OPL fall 2014 winners do get an invite. NWCL 2014-15 winners also get an invite. Confirmed this with Gabe Rood who is the US Club rep for this region. Check it out yourself if you don't believe it.

They would be well advised to decline unless they want to go and get a can of whoopass opened up on them. Oh heck, what am I saying, they should go, this year won't be any worse than previous years.

OPL has won 3 NPL national titles in the past 2 years. Not many leagues across the country can say that.

By two teams and those teams have been done away with, by and large, by ECNL. Do you really think that any OPL team stands a snowball's chance in hell of winning ONE game? They might score a goal or two. Might that is. Take off your past glory glasses and put on something that looks at today.

Same reason why the TA teams left OPL. Couldn't win any games so left to play with themselves...

Shy away from competition? You mean just like the TA clubs?

Better chance than any OYSA teams, no doubt about it. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay at home on GW's porch.

Believe that if you will. OYSA is actually both US Club and USYS. That is actually pretty common. That way it doesn't limit where teams can play.

I understand OPL is all about selling this image of exclusivity, but the reality is they are lying to you.

OYSA is USYS only. Maybe some teams that play in OYSA are also registered with US Club, but OYSA itself is not US Club. Get your facts straight.

thank you for echoing what I said. Yes, everything above is correct.

Next year will be a different story. The only way you go to NPL Finals after this year will be NWCL - and rightfully so, NWCL will send better teams to the NPL Finals.

You are wrong but that's OK. OPL will continue to send teams to NPL Finals after summer 2015. Too bad the TA teams don't have anything to aspire to...

You have no idea what you are talking about. You clearly are not in the know as to changes that are in the works. But thanks for your efforts.

Sorry, but I went right to a Board Member of US Club and OPL will continue to send it's champion

I remember when I called Frasier and asked if LO would be applying to gain a spot for ECNL. At the time we were traveling to Seattle and we knew through our coach that LO would be aligning with Crossfire. He told me that the board had discussed it but after review they did not think it worth their while. Funny thing is that the very next year they get ECNL. I wouldn't bet on anything you hear here or your secret buddy board member tells you.

Just so you will understand, I believe that both individuals have received credible information from their "secret" sources but that at the end of the day something entirely different will happen.

                                My advice: Wait and see.
