• Were you there in their board meetings listening to them plot against the OPL/OPC ?
  
• Were you privy to some sort of electronic communications between the Timbers office the affiliated clubs ?
  
• Maybe you received some sort of communication from an affiliate club that discredits the remaining OPL/OPC clubs and their newly aligned relationship with the ECNL.

If you were or you have such evidence, post it up here. Otherwise, SHUT UP !!

You might keep in mind there are also parents on this forum with Boys. In the Boys soccer world the tables are reversed, and OPL/ECNL has nothing to offer. OYSA has a very strong boys program and will continue to be the place to play.

Clearly the OPL faithful don't care much for boys teams, as evidenced by statements like the above.

The OPL and Mike Smith have been trying to bring the leagues back together. Notice it is Mike from the Timbers doing the negotiations and not OYSA. This should not surprise anyone BTW. The OPL has already conceded more in an effort to bring soccer back together. Unfortunately, it seems that the Timbers are not really interested in unifying soccer.

It is the Timbers because they are the ones running the leagues, ie collecting the money. OYSA just sanctions the league, only financial incentive for OYSA is the per player card fee. It is to bad OYSA wouldn't tell both to find some common ground and make this work. If they didn't sanction either league until they found some common ground this might work. Unfortunately they are too tied in with the Timbers to do something like this.

Sorry, but i think OPL for now has blown their wad…All the energy spent on ECNL and it still isn't fully up and working, then the Primary clubs (CU and FC) will have to decide if they even want to waste anytime on OPL, Because they are now ECNL clubs, why mess with the little leagues…

If you have a boy u11 or older I would sternly suggest not waiting until OPL does something…If it ever happens your kid will probably be in college before you see it.
