Clubs looking to move due to ECNL

NEU is moving all teams now due to a diluted OPL.
    Pacific FC
    Salmon Creek
Valley Fire FC (who are they?)

all are moving to OYSA now because of how diluted the OPL will be.

the top two clubs in OPL were FCPDX and THUSC.....

those teams will now send "B" teams to the top league. OUCH!

Question is.......who else will be moving?

I have no idea if this is true or not, by why wouldn't you move? I am very happy that Oregon got ECNL, but that means that those clubs will dominate OPL. While not all top talent will go to those clubs on the girls side, those clubs without ECNL simply will be able to compete.
Why would it be a bad thing to have ECNL clubs do their own thing, and have the rest with OYSA? If ECNL is for you (and personally I think it's got great value for the right player) - great. If you still want to play competitive soccer but it doesn't work out geographically, economically, or from a time commitment standpoint, it would seem OYSA with the Club/Thorns Academy is a nice alternative.
And if you disagree with this, fine. It would be nice to hear some thoughts for those considering all options rather than just making accusations.

Funny post. Like any of those teams compete regularly in every age group with OPL premier teams..

This is just a lie by the Timbers to try and push people/clubs to OYSA. Why can't you people see this? The Timbers have been spreading this garbage for months.

Untrue. In fact, BSC is looking at moving teams back to OPL.

Check your sources on NEU - that is not my understanding.

Just look at the OYSA State Cup fiasco in u12G. Why would that draw anyone to OYSA?

Isn't there club tied in with Thorns academy? Pretty sure they are staying put.

ECNL will be the most expensive way to play but will consolidate the most talent.
OPL will be very weak due to this.

Funny. Try again. Thorns Coach, Timbers Community rep, and the BSC DOC. Good luck with BSC stepping away from OYSA Timbers League.

BSC is practically and alliance club at this point.

which isn't a bad move....now the NPL National Championships will have BSC teams or Hillsboro United representing the OPL
