The odd thing is that a team might get more good games though in a US Club regional even though the qualification for the USYSA regionals is harder. For example, the US Club regional in NorCal typically has a lot of good teams in it; most of which are better than the state cup winners from smaller western states like AK, HI, ID, MT. The final of a USYSA regional will likely have better teams than a US Club regional or nationals. Been to both and at the end of the day it doesn't make that much of a difference. The games are still just youth soccer games.

You just argued against the need of the OPL and ECNL while trying to support the US Club route, "at the end of the day it doesn't make that much of a difference. The games are still just youth soccer games."

At the end of the day, there is a difference. Which is why there is so much turmoil over it. Teams that aren't state Champions, even if they wanted to be, are capable of winning at US Club Regional events. There are times and specific age groups/regions when the US Club events can be very competitive. This is not the norm and not to be expected each time. Far West Regionals doesn't always bring the Nation's best, but it does bring and demand a high level of play from the region.

On average, Farwest regionals demands better teams and play to be able to win at this level than the average US Club Regionals

Keep spouting your OYSA/Timbers lemming BS. It's entertaining to say the least.
Does Tom have to tell you to say that, or does it come naturally for the THUSC parents?
