how much does it mean to be the state cup winning team? Would you consider moving your child to that team if it's not your team? (this is not a discussion of OYSA vs OPL) If you would move your child how far is to far to be a part of a winning team?

It means that the team won which is a nice feather in the cap and something players should be proud of. It's an accomplishment. The team gets to go to regionals but beyond that it doesn't mean much. Regionals were mostly expensive but it is a good show. Team success is nice and more coaches will come watch highly successful teams but at the end of the day, it's whether the individual can play. More importantly, make sure the playing experience is positive and fun or it's not worth it.

--in these two watered-down state cups, not very much.
"Would you consider moving your child to that team if it's not your team?"
--losing state cup would certainly not be a reason to switch clubs
"If you would move your child how far is to far to be a part of a winning team?"
--define winning team, winning state cup shouldn't be the only draw, unless you're a
delusional parent.

It is made competitive by having many teams at a high level all playing each other.

Says the guy who's sons team obviously won the fall league. Coming out this strong in an oppinion that bennefits his train of thought only, is kind of a chump move in my book.
