If the plan is for the ex-Pacific coach is to help (or "assist") coach Tina'a team, that makes perfect sense because he's been a parent-coach to his daughter forever and probably expects to continue coaching her at a higher level, assuming she makes the A-team.
But where does that leave the rest of his old team?
I've known a very few coaches that were able to remain totally impartial, but at the premier level it's a big conflict of interest. Case in point.

It was a real conflict of interest at Pacific and contributed significantly to his involuntary departure.

Tina is one example, she gets a lot of criticism on here. However, she always seems to have a full and successful team. People seem to be happy playing for her and she seemed positive and knowledgeable at PDP events. If we lived closer, I may consider her team.
Be careful about listening to the haters.

Typically, these parents' children weren't up to par with the level of the team and the parent blames the club, coach, doc, "soccer politics," other players, etc.

Thus, if there are more then just a couple vocal folks it would be wise to do some investigative work before joining the circus.

This board seems to crucify any coach or DOC whose name is mentioned. Talking to current members of clubs and teams to find out true perceptions is invaluable.

Full and successful? Who lied to you? Either you are realty ignorant to the issues that have happened this and last year or just as I suspect you are a fcsc parent. Probably both.
And I know because we experienced it.
