Is it the same when a coach knowingly uses a player that is of the correct age, but it ineligible to participate, but does it anyways ?
Another example a few years ago when a player received a red card in the semi-final game at state cup and was supposed to "sit out" the next game, but the coach played him anyways in the final game.
The opposing coach knew that player was ineligible, but waited to see who prevailed. When his team lost, he pulled out his trump card and notified the ref's that the player wasn't supposed to play. Filed a grievance with the refs who forwarded it to OYSA. Both the coach and player were further penalized into the next season.
In both examples, adults knew better. Neither is right.
