Coming into this tryout season all the talk was about Wa Timbers losing all their players. However, they managed to take both of Pacifics top 2 teams in their club. I did not see that coming.

Everyone thinks the grass is always greener. Problem is, those kids that move over are going to realize they are paying more, traveling more just for practice, and half the kids are going to hate it. Then the next year, half the team leaves after they realize they made a mistake.

Not always greener but sometimes it is. Highly unlikely that it's greener at WashT though.

Helps but still doesn't offset the losses from the "Red" teams at older ages.

They just got stronger by doubling the players at the high school girls age groups.
There were at least 15 THUSC players at vantucky tryouts

It's waaaaay greener. Numbers are up 20% at premier and 25% with rec. I think vantucky will be fine.

Looking at number of teams numbers aren't up 20% but believe what you want. At least one age group is down 60%.

Who is selling this crap to you? This is the Timbers red team that left last year. They lost a few girls to ENCL so team folded and all went to THUSC. Team was not that good, so they are all coming back. Sound familiar, to the grass is always greener.

***C is definitely taking the right approach and rebuilding from the younger programs up. I like the changes made to management and the direction they are heading. Kudos to listening to your consumers and making the change - albeit a little late.

Ha - picking up the best group of girls at the U12 age was a major testament to their changes. I am pretty sure the PFC parents would never have moved without it.

Yes, I think your correct. The top girls will end up in ECNL.
