Well to be fair they haven't played anywhere yet. We will see when the schedules come out where they actually land.

The only published info is that they, along with THUSC, have been "accepted" into the RCL.

Why is there even talk about this team? They are a thing of Portlands' past. As with many teams Out of sight out of mind. Why keep opening this sore subject when they should be fading into the distance. Focus needs to be here on Portland/Oregon to compare apples to apples.

You didn't hear? This team, all of them, are the future USWNT. That's what their parents say and who are we to disagree?

Every other girl at this age (& their parents) think the kid is destined for a D1 full ride & USWNT. No really, my kid is special! Give it time. By u15 they'll settle down and half will have given up soccer for other pursuits or just for school & boys.

So,am I the only one who thinks having 11 and 12 year olds trudging through the super hot sand on a 99° day dragging large garbage cans 1/3 full of sand back and forth for "conditioning" for an hour and a half abusive? When a parent on this team told me this, it made me angry. But I was more blown away at the fact that this dad didn't see anything wrong with it!! This can't possibly be ok with the club. Am I wrong?

You must not have read the youth soccer fee sheet. This isn't conditioning, this is Harmony maintenance and is required work by every youth player. Club has no choice really - have you seen what a dump Harmony is?

The coach is "outdated" with his coaching style. You'd think it was 1990 and that the girls were 17 years old. The dude needs to wake up and get the girls on the ball more. Kids don't need straight fitness at this age. They need touches on the ball

I find it funny that someone "knows" all these details and gets on here to post about it...if you have a problem with the team or coach, go talk to them. Pretty much and open door policy.

So moving your team to Washington Timbers wasn't an improvement, huh? Imagine that!

Yeah, I'm sure that the players playing time will not suffer if they bring the concerns to the coach
