Hey mister, why don't you buzz off. There is nothing wrong with talking online about young girls playing soccer. This happens to be a once in a generation kind of team and they deserve all the attention they are getting. Some of us are working hard to manage the image and budding careers of our up and coming athletes. Who are you to be all snippy?

I know your joking but some on here will believe you. "Once in a generation" teams aren't ranked 6th in state. This is just another good team from a small club that will start to lose players to the good clubs next year. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I am a parent on this team. This thread is ridiculous. We are a good team, not a "once in a generation". I don't know why people come on here and post this kind of stuff just to inflame responses. It is stupid. The girls are highly competitive, have fun, and absolutely love playing together. That is enough for me. Where will this be in 2 years? Who the heck knows or really cares.

Pretty sure they aren't the first, nor the last, team to beat someone 25-0. The fact it is still mentioned 2 years after it happened is quite entertaining. This isn't "Rudy" and not meant to be endearing.

In 36 years of playing and watching the sport, I've NEVER heard of a score that lopsided. To have it happen during a kids game, with adults having the ability to *adjust* things is pathetic.

Perhaps you have not watched much soccer in those 36 brilliant years. And yes, if you are watching English Premier League, that score does not happen...

Point of fact - In 2014, a local tournament called Tualatin Hills United Cup, a boys won 22-0. Oh crap, I guess I am wrong, those 3 goals are the difference from a group being blasted for years and a group being "endearing"...

You are right that is common for teams to outclass others in talent by that margin or greater, which makes this team nothing special. It is however unheard of in my experience for a coach to actually run up those kind of scores against other 8 or 9 year olds. That is definitely "special".
