So why not play where it won't cost you a ton and volunteer coaches are okay no matter what their experience as long as it's fun and their friends are with them. The others that have potential to play beyond club move on to THUSC or FCP for girls or west side timbers for boys. This age it happens to be pretty even as far as player numbers ***C may have a few more they have a fourth team but going to be very tough to catch up with this PFC team, can't beat them join them if your good enough the Couv needs everyone to compete with the big boys.

Why pay 1300 to 1600 for summer and spring soccer. Unless your team remains intact at Timbers. I could see numbers moving from Timbers and Salmon creek at the older ages for the reason you stated. That may be in Pacifics favor for high school ages.

I don't believe prior poster was making a fair comparison. Look up the Pacific 97 and see where they play and how they finish in those brackets.
It's a bigger deal that the Timbers team blew up, very hard to find players to replace. The Wind loses some players, not that difficult to find replacement players. Right?

Sorry - didn't want to parse through 50 pages. What is this team doing next? Are they playing Mt. Hood or done with summer tournaments? Does anyone know if the coaches are pretty fair during tryouts or are they really loyal to the current players?
