Not hard to stir pot they put to boil....

Just pointing out obvious. Is entertaining.
Are you really that stupid to think that a Nemesis parent started a thread that stated how awesome there team was and that they are going to destroy everyone.

I am sure some of them felt that way, but doubt that any of the parents posted it.

Do you think they were on here bragging about winning with guest players?

I thought the Vancouver people were not very bright, but you may win the prize in that category.

My daughter is not on one of the top teams, so I mostly read this out of entertainment, interest in the age group and to gain a little insight.

I actually thought there would be more talk after each weekend when certain teams won big or did what others predicted they would not be capable of. But, mostly it was quiet. There were many times team could have bragged. And there have been times teams have proven naysayers wrong. But, still, they were quiet.

But, I knew when FCSC won both games this weekend they would start talking.

      And I was right.

It's okay, it does entertain. Not really a big deal to me, but interesting.

        Just Curious

I am a salmon creek parent and I am wondering which post or posts do you think are posted by salmon creek parents in the past day or so? I am struggling to see where our parents were boasting about anything.

No dog in this fight. Just would agree that it is entertaining. Looks like the game recap was on a public site and names were published by club.

I do find it unfortunate when clubs use guests to win games. This is what appears to have happened this weekend to see the obvious jump in performance.

Not an FCSC parent, but I'll acknowledge they had a good weekend with 2 big wins that puts them right back in the hunt.

Why shouldn't they come in here and talk about it? That is what this forum is for right?

LO losses 2 games this weekend and FCSC wins two big games this weekend . . . in the little world of G99 NPL, that is big news. No one blowing it out of proportion, just talking about key games over the weekend.

            Nice wins FCSC!

As long as FCSC stayed within the rules of OPL, who cares who they had playing on the team . . . is the way I see it.

Interesting reading. No mention of LO using (3)15 year olds on their roster but the Nemesis use a 12 year old and get bashed.

They pull out a 2 wins after their best player left the team?

I completely disagree. Guest players should not be allowed to play during fall season. NWCL, among other things, are decided by fall season. To bring in guest players to win key games is not a fair representation of that team.

Sad what clubs will do for wins. If I had a daughter on that team (playing or on the bench) I wouldn't want to see her team win by bringing in guest players. Would like to poll the FCSC parents to see what they think.

They aren't guest players if they are with the same club. This is the way it is everywhere.

Come on man. How could LO have had 3 fifteen year old's on their roster? That's a big bomb to drop, and walk away.

Using guest players solely to win games is definitely contrary to the spirit of what guest playing is designed for. Although legal, it doesn't help anyone except for 1) the guest players that get to take playing time from team "payers" and 2) the club's bragging rights.

Why stop at one game? If you have some good players, the club should use them at every level and every age to win whatever they can.

I do think it is very funny that the Nemesis parents that boasted about their awesome team need 12 year olds to come in and win games for them.

Then name the clubs for G99 NPL that have brought in players from other teams( in the same club) to help them win games.

I don't know what all the other clubs are doing but my guess is the number is zero.

You should ask the OPL or look on their website for the waiver :) 15 and in the 8th grade allows you to play in the 99 age group.

Wrong. Born after 8/1/99 puts you in the 99 age group (except for ODP).

only and has no relevance or jurisdiction in summer tournaments.
                                The certificate below must be completed and returned to the Oregon Premier League to be verified;
once verified, you will need to keep the original copy to show to match officials on game days. Once the
certificate has expired, please discard it.
