Try asking your TA club board for a copy of the Timbers Alliance agreement they signed. Don't hold your breath waiting for a copy. There are too many things in that document that the club boards don't want their general membership to know about... Lots of obligations and not very many benefits.

The agreement seemed pretty boilerplate and based upon our DOC's discussion with other DOC's who have joined there was never mention of fees to join the Timbers. I highly doubt one club would pay fees to the Timbers and then there would be no mention of a fee whatsoever when our club was asked to join and agreement given to us to review. And, I am sorry, but I am not too worried about the $2 either and, you are very mid-leading if that is what you are referring to when you say the alliance clubs pay fees to the Timbers.

Don't think I said anything about payments. Just that there were lots of "obligations" that most parents don't know about.

What are you skeptical of and why are you still with the club?
