Good old US of A. Guilty before proven innocent. I would hold back judgements until a trial.

Do posters here really think that 1 accuser in this type of crime will get the accused a bail amount of $1.2 million? That level is typically reserved for really well substantiated offenses and multiple victims. Do you think that DA's are stupid? No, they're not. When the trial comes, we'll all find out. Meanwhile, I'm thinking the worst for him.

So what does it mean when the bail gets reduced to $250K?

When the trial comes out then we will find out.

Trials are to determine if someone is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Law enforcement has already decided that there is enough evidence to arrest which means they believe he did this . . . multiple times.

There is the legal process to protect his constitutional rights, but that doesn't mean he can't be judged by public opinion (which is what this board is). Police made an arrest, prosecutors have brought charges, there obviously is some serious evidence out there against him . . . As a parent, I wouldn't want my daughter (or son) anywhere near this guy and those who want to wait to hear what a jury says before they pass judgment are being lazy parents.

And for those stuck on letting the judicial system make their decision for them, know that law enforcement, the District Attorney and a grand jury all are convinced this coach sexually abused a 12 year old multiple times.

Those who think he is a good soccer coach have to let that go and see the big picture. This soccer community is out of control

The big picture is that this stuff is more common then you think and as parents we need to be responsible for our kids. This stuff happens outside of soccer as well. These are just some stories from May and June of this year in the area.

Exactly. This stuff happens all the time, and yet because he apparently was a good soccer coach people don't want to rush to judgement. Give me a break! It's our job as parents to judge adults who interact with our kids. Some need to take off the soccer goggles and see the reality of the situation

I don't think it is that he is a good soccer coach that people don't want to rush to judgement. It is because they know him and are shocked that this happened. He really was not that great of a coach.

It is not so much judging adults because in many of these cases they would have come out clean. "Joey" had was All American soccer player, clean cut guy, coached youth soccer, his wife is dying of cancer, and he has a 12 year old daughter (who plays on the team he coaches). As parents we need to judge the situation that we put our kids in.

I get that people are shocked to hear these allegations against this particular person, what I don't get is why people are so ready to defend him or not want to pass judgment on him after they learn he has been arrested and charged with some terrible crimes.

In our society where priests and boy scout leaders (among others) have been convicted of molesting young kids, really that hard to believe Mr. All American clean cut soccer guy abused a 12 year old girl?

You're an idiot. When it comes to children, there has to be very little if any evidence to get to this point...especially when the father is a police officer. Really, you come across as frantic, paranoid, and delusional; so I retract my idiot comment. You're just a nut bag.

There are a few that want to wait for the details before passing judgement. I don't think any one is defending him.

This is the same if a priest, boy scout leader, or teacher is accused of something similar.

The people who know them really don't want to believe it until the details spill out. None of the real details are out so why the rush to pass judgement on him?

Jesus, you can't even hold one thought together in a short and pointless post.

Next time instead of typing out you are retract a comment, try a delete or backspace button. You talking to yourself on a chat board is silly.
