I would say that the best players that they have are two midfielders. The defenders are really getting a raw deal having to just play the ball over the top and not learning composure on the ball and playing out of the back. I would agree though that they have one girl on that team who is a total hack, especially when the team is not winning. But what do you expect from TS. Maybe they will go the way of the 01 team.

So TS was able to beat CFC in league since they are undefeated? I'm guessing yes since they are being proclaimed as the best soccer team in the state still. Does any team in OYSA not play bootball? I love the style THUSC and FCP play.

And this is why I say the reffing makes a big difference. Some refs let the girls get away with more aggressive play than other refs. Some teams play soccer and some play rugby. TS does better when they are allowed to used a two-handed push from behind to knock others down so they lose possession of the ball.

This is funny. As I read this, I find myself back a few years ago and I was complaining about the same things. The good news, is that it gets better. Have your dd's play soccer. They will lose some matches and have some bad seasons, but don't lose heart. They will be better soccer players and more importantly better people in the long run. Play the ball not the person.

The race for fall league champs:
looks like only 4 teams are battling it out for first in each league, sure would have been nice if these 8 were all in one league.

OYSA: CFC, Copa TS, BSC and Eastside
For OPL: THUSC, FC, WUSC, and FCSC

Pretty sure there is only one team in the state yet to lose a game this fall. Or even tie. And pretty sure that same team hasn't lost or tied an Oregon team since last spring. That sounds like a better description of "untouchable" to me.

Always the same excuse for FC, "we're developing our players for later." Only reason FC does better for older girls is because they recruit like hell.

Wait, didn't FC finish in last place last fall. Had all the teams stayed together they should have been relegated. Isn't the only reason they are not in the same position this year because they recruited a number of actual athletes from WT*C.

I think what that person is saying is to rank the teams based upon development potential. I mean, we have some of the dumbest posters on here, might as well add that person to the list.
