Excessive use of guest players and play-ups may be allowable, but committing to and promising players on other teams starting positions and playing time ahead of open try-outs is not only unethical, but goes against the OPL rules of conduct regarding recruiting. Those players who were approached and did accept obviously won't speak up. But any that were approached and given advance guarantees but then got turned down or declined offers could spell trouble.

The fact that 3 of the guest players from Pacific FC who trained and played much of the season on Nemesis (including on their state cup roster) chose not to tryout for FCSC is enlightening.

It still remains to be proven that no violation of the roster consistency rule has occurred. If their '99G state roster consisted of the 15 players in the team photo and 3 of the rostered guests did not return, then SC can only afford to lose 2 more from that roster in order to have the minimum 10 returning players. Should be a very easy thing for OPL to verify.

Tina put them in a rediculous situation last year which forced the opl to make the roster rule because she clearly didnt think about what was best for the players. Now she is in a predicament and her parents are out of control because everyone and their mother is calling out their whole sale roster change.

This is getting more and more humorous as this goes along. Probably a lot of contributing parents from different clubs talking about this but still shocking how crazy these fcsc coach and parents are.

Completely disagree. Now you've just promoted teams to do what they did last year in throwing together kids from other teams playing more games than they should while sitting players who need time to get better.

All because a coach wants to win games and stay on a level where she can get better players.

Sounds like fcsc became the hub for crazy families. Not that their aren't any at thusc well now at FC Portland. Ridiculousness seems to be there mo. It's pretty evident that those Valencia crazy families were all going to settle with some going to fcsc, wt, and thusc. It seems they did everyone a favor with the bad ones.

How many guest players were used per game? Honestly I don't mind guest players within reason. I think they should just put a max of 3 per game. That way it still allows the clubs who use it for its intended purpose of development to continue to use it, but it would cut out a lot of this other junk of not playing your original players.

Take the amount of kids from the state cup roster. Minus guest players or kids who weren't on the team this year. Now subtract the 20 kids used to play against FC Portland and that's how many guest players were used.

Eastside family + current fcsc family + evidently the notorious Valencia group = more than thusc, wt, FC combined in gu15 age group.

We know one of them from odp and they are a ship sinker by themselves.
