I don't see why they just don't play Rcl. If this is an all star team of crazy parents, I mean players. They should just skip the opl rabble and go straight to being the top Rcl team beating all the top teams in the nw!

They cant play RCL, their club does not qualify. I think you have to have teams in both ages and genders to even be considered. And FCSC has lots of missing ages. Almost missing an entire gender, maybe 3-4 boys teams left.

RCL = Regional Club League

A league of Regional Clubs, as designated by Washington Youth Soccer. FCSC is not a regional club, and therefore, not eligible for the RCL.

It is unlikely that FCSC will every qualify for the RCL. WYS's vision for the state is "seamless soccer" pyramid with rec at the bottom, select in the middle, and premier at the top. Regional clubs are designated to concentrate the talent from a region to a single club serving that region. The merger of WSA and the Timbers (both previously designated regional clubs) into a single regional club is consistent with WYS's vision of concentrating talent. The Vancouver area really isn't big enough to house two regional clubs so it is doubtful that another club from the area will ever be designated as a regional club.

There are other clubs that are far stronger than FCSC from top to bottom (e.g., Issaquah Soccer Club) that can't get into the RCL for the same reason. Even if FSCS met the criteria, it is very unlikely to happen.
