I love girls soccer, so much drama for nothing.

Hey SF, maybe do your job and develop YOUR players.
Any of you who still have doubts that SF is allowing outside agents to run his team (be it for side-money, or the misguided believe that these people and their superstars are going to bring him another victory), keep your eyes on that public middle school/public high school transfer portal into Jesuit.
Goalies, defenders, especially those whose public school coaches nominated them for all-league teams, my guess is he is already targeting them.
Why coach your own team when RJ can recruit from the all-league pool?
      What a joke.

Great job, SF, networking to bring good scholar athletes to Jesuit. If this is true, isn't this what a private school is supposed to do? Find the best students who fit the high academic standards they have and move them forward.

Ah. Someone who believes SF’s “scholar athletes” see the field.
I’d be curious to know the cumulative GPA of SF’s starting line up.
            Not the bench.
            The starters.

            FYI.
At Jesuit varsity athletes can be failing classes with no sanctions on playing time.
Maybe that is also true at the public schools they are competing against?

Jesuit is known as one of the best high schools, not just in Oregon but anywhere. Their graduates get into better universities, win more athletic competitions, thereby probably have better access to athletics scholarships etc....This is why you send your kids there; Jesuit is doing it better than anyone else. No matter how rich or poor a family is, they make the sacrifice and invest in their kids. I know many families who go without some things or work other jobs to invest in their kids future. If you don't like it, dare to do better.

The hard truth is this. SF is the king of this castle. He will get what he wants. He will punish who he wants. He will win, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Make your peace with it and move on.

Thanks RJ fan club. What does he does after HS go back to picking his nose and teach PE? He gets his little power trip for 2 months of the year and back to being a nobody.

Nice try we already know that Jesuit has the top notch education system for those that actually take advantage of it.
The colleges provide offers for soccer recruiting are based on their performance at National Showcase tournaments at their clubs.
This 2 month clown show of beating up on public high schools and all the colleges know. Its all about setting the right pathway for them to succeed as student athletes for college not beating up high school teams who can barely compete because they don’t do recruiting or have funding. It’s all about setting the right tone because not everyone who plays sports at Jesuit are going to be making $100M contracts after school.
Please separate education and sports when you have a system that’s rigged and everyone knows that. Education is statistically always going to take you places plain facts.

Jesuit, like any "elite" institution, is mainly about acquiring connections and social capital, and keeping out the riffraff.

Scholar Athletes? Bro. Come on. We have already pointed out that this team is ranked 14th in the state for GPA. How’s that $20k tuition working for the “Scholar” athletes?

14th Whoa. That’s below every other private school by a wide margin.

And creating a lot of angry young adults when they realize that the entitlement they felt in high school, means dik in the real world. “But mommy and daddy said I was more special and had all the right connections and opportunities.” “Now no one wants to work with me because I am total douche who thinks he is awesome.”

                            you know who you are….

Private schools are great! No problem with that at all. But they shouldn’t be allowed to compete with public schools for athletics when they recruit players from all over the state for the sole purpose of winning state championships, and then using that as a way to get more attention and thus enrollment.

There are plenty of private schools in the state to create a separate league.

                              and then a regional championship.

get them out of OSAA. It’s so blatantly obvious that Jesuit games the system. Literally no other high school has this level of athletic success. Give me a break. This is not by chance, it is by design. And the f u c k I n g clowns at OSAA let it happen.

We will see about that. I hope your boy Fennah is clean as a whistle because rumor has it that there are substantial numbers of folks now engaging with OSAA to open up inquiries on reports of recruiting and using players to recruit others to come to Jesuit. If they do have evidence of this and can present it to the board, this could actually be a problem for Jesuit.

the main person is a relatively prominent attorney in Beaverton that is pushing this forward. It sounds like there is/was a player from Eugene that was recruited and moved into an apartment at the behest of Fennah prior to testing or enrollment. The RJ thing if real is problematic too. How did 3 players get enrollment from the same team without help from Fennah. None of which went to catholic school prior. These complaints are going to OSAA now as recruitment activity.

i would suggest that anyone who has information contact OSAA directly and continue to push. It’s the only way this will stop.
