Was there any QC on these brackets? Just pulling up BU14, and BU16 on both of these you have the same club with two out of three teams in a bracket. With the 16's Bracket A has two westside teams, and bracket B has two FC teams. With the 14's the same thing happened with LO.

Just a common sense check here...How do you think things will go for that third team? There is no reason the teams can't be split, and in fact they SHOULD be split.

Assume they followed the seeding rules, regardless of team names. If they started randomly moving teams around out of seed order, then people would complain about that too...

You can't just start switching teams around or you mess up the whole seeding process. I think when two teams from the same club are in a bracket then they should play first. If they play last you are asking for trouble.

Well they know they will never advance to the finals so they need to find another way to look decent on paper. The easy route works best for this team.

Maybe they're just doing things a little differently than everybody else (FWRL, PML, OYSA State Cup, Region IV Cup potentially). Being different isn't always bad.

Please don't quote me the rules to seeding, however how do the 2 worst Premier Div teams (NEU-Bend) get seeded together (D Bracket) alone! One of these 2 has already made it to the Qtrs. Yikes!

I also feel bad for FC Navy, best team in the group gets seeded with CFC and Samba, two of the best teams in the Spring (although Samba has dropped off a bit). Sorry FC, but if you make it to the Qtr's you will have deserved it.

Yeah, that one is a little bizarre. They would be better off with three groups instead of four there.

I sincerely doubt there was that much thought given to it. However there are countless examples during a seeding process where if you get two teams from the same club in a group you leave the top seeded team where they are, and bump the lower seeded team down one slot.

It is far more questionable to have a group with three teams, and two of those three are from the same club.

Sounds a lot like someone making up excuses before the tournament even starts... What does it matter who is in which group. Beat them all and win the cup!

No, not excuses...Questioning the legitimacy of how the whole thing is run. Every team deserves a fair shake, and I would prefer playing a team that earned moving from round to round, not one that arranges their advancement.

This kind of stuff tarnishes the cup. You can make your quips of why you disagree, blah,blah,blah. It would not happen in a real championship.
