Schedules

Fields. Each club needs to allocate fields. Certain clubs failed in this task before taking off for spring break. I guess every adult associated with soccer takes this week off. To me, it is very unprofessional for a business to shut down for an entire week. Especially when they cannot seem to run a tournament without waiting until the last minute to ask for field use. Deadlines for state cup should be months earlier. Get with the program OPL.

When adults fail to be responsible, it's not the fault of the organization. That's why local DOC's and coaches do youth soccer, they're not good enough or responsible enough to coach in college or the professional ranks. So, the solution is not to hurt the kids and say, "you didn't the stuff in on time" so you're teams are out. Can you imagine the uproar and mess that would create? Ask your coach and DOC if they got their information in timely and who didn't. It was no different with OYSA, and mostly a lot worse.

Was there any QC on these brackets? Just pulling up BU14, and BU16 on both of these you have the same club with two out of three teams in a bracket. With the 16's Bracket A has two westside teams, and bracket B has two FC teams. With the 14's the same thing happened with LO.

Just a common sense check here...How do you think things will go for that third team? There is no reason the teams can't be split, and in fact they SHOULD be split.

So does one or two teams advance out of the group? Pretty sweet deal for those clubs with 2/3s of the bracket. They would have to monumentally screw up not to move forward.

Well they know they will never advance to the finals so they need to find another way to look decent on paper. The easy route works best for this team.
