No. The director of Oregon Surf’s kid plays for Thorns Academy.

That because she played there when he was the Director of Thorns College Pathway…. Both of his daughters did. And they wanted to play with the teammates they have known for years. If you know Linus and his family, you would also know they are incredibly kind and wonderful people. I find it to be commendable that he lets his kids make their own decisions, regardless of the political blowback to him. That’s pretty awesome. Anyone who wants to crap on that is a loser in my opinion

They had a RL weekend up in Washington in august and their standings were 2 W and 1 T with xfire.

Yep, it was cancelled. No reason given that I’ve heard but the assumptions are low registration.

They used ECNL guest players all summer, so they appeared better than they actually are. League play started and they’re no longer seeing wins with their RL roster.

Everyone missed this. Yes!! And it’s been replaced by the new Surf Challenge Golf Tournament. Hmmmm. Let’s replace our failed tournament with a golf event. Sponsors requested to fund the club’s failed field relationship. Thats right. Get in line members to pay for the THPRD fail.
