Good people? OSU coach got fired for what? UO coach had numerous complaints about him. PSU doesn’t even understand the word excellence and UP…well you get what you pay for.

To make any team at the college level is pretty good, really good for boys with far fewer programs. To get minutes, even better. To be part of a winning program incredible. Focus on getting a education and playing soccer is a bonus.

Whaddya know. Both Oregon State varsity teams, men's and women's, are undefeated in wcc play.

Speaking of the Beavs, Gonzaga was in town tonight, and once again a local player (Capitol fc 05 Hudson Brunk) put a ball into the OSU net. Unfortunately for the zags, da Beavs notched four goals, winning 4-2. Drew Pederson (opfc/Jesuit) started and recorded two shots on goal, but didn't score.

This is not a good look for OR club soccer as they no longer produce players that can shine at D1 in their own State. Also highlighting just how weak the WCC has become in the last 20 years and how strong the former Power 5 (PAC12) had become. Just stunning.

A lot of it imported. But NCAA D1 is practically a pro development league these days. And I would argue that the quality of play in power-conf D1 has increased due to the foreign imports and their focus on recruiting at MLS and foreign academies.

(The quality of the top D1 teams is probably similar to MLS Next Pro or USL League One, both in the third tier of the US Soccer pyramid, even though NCAA soccer is outside the Federation-specified structure. The bottom 2/3 of D1 men's soccer, as well as the top D2 schools, are more equivalent to USL2 or UPSL, leagues in the unofficial "fourth division" of the pyramid).
