BIG PICTURE NEWS FLASH!! When these boys are U15, U16...what they did as a U13 won't really matter! The only one that will be embarrssed is you for thinking that losing in group play of State Cup at U13 is an embarrassment. It's called development!

I can say the same stupid ass thing you just did... When these boys are 21,22...what they did as a 14 year old won't really matter. What they do now does matter, to them and their parents. And to you too otherwise why are you posting, dumbass?

CFC beat FC earlier this Spring 1-0 and FC returned the favor 1-0 at the end of Spring season. Those games scores are not too far removed from the 1-1 tie (loss on PK's) with Samba.
CFC must have a 'good enough' defense to keep the ball out of their net. They do have a pretty good forward and attacking wings, not sure if any of them are new.

And, dollar for dollar, CFC is way better than FCP. No comparison! So go ahead and spend thousands more, FCP parents. You MIGHT just beat these guys.

So Johnny plays soccer to win today because that is all that matters?!! Obviously I struck a nerve and you didn't get my point. The comment was based on a team losing in group play being an embarrasment to their club. My comment was to put things in perspective for you in how it relates to what I assume is the overall reason for playing a sport...to get better at it! But you're right, all that matters is to win now! My apologies!

It still counts as a tie. The penalty kicks won't matter unless after all the tie breakers things are still even. All FC has to do is not lose by more then 2-0 which they should be able to do no problem. Their goal differential would then be -2 while Samba has -3.

Let's put it this way: Johnny doesn't know what he will be doing in a few years and can't think farther than next week out. Unlike you with your master plan for his next few years of soccer development, Johnny lives in the here and now and , yes, Johnny plays soccer to WIN.

Go ask Johnny if it's about "development". He will scratch his head and wonder if you are drinking again. And BTW, it's all good and fine to talk about "development" but there are very VERY few teams or clubs that actually practice it. If you think FCP is that rare exception, then you better be able to show that ALL the kids on that team had equal playing time during each state cup game. That doesn't even happen in league play with FCP, so don't tell me they are all about development.

And YOU didn't get my point. If this FCP team loses out to CFC in group play, it will certainly be an embarrassment to FCP. Why? Because although is just a "lowly" Division 1 OPL team (unlike the FCP powerhouse team), they are showing they are as good as "Premier" division teams.

it doesnt make sense... FC can not tie Samba and CFC beat Samba 3-0.

CFC is not that good... either CFC had other players added to the roster or something else is going on with FC

CFC did add a new player to the roster. They were also trying to get a U12 player from WAFC
